1 Star Terrible Interference from your cell phones!
These speakers are so bad! We have had them for about 2 months now and they always have that grating interference/popping sound whenever we have a cell phone in the room. We have a 2nd computer with speakers nearby that never makes so much as a peep when cell phones are near it. Do not buy these! Invest a little bit more for ones with better shielding!!

I read the luke warm and negative reviews for this speaker but ordered one anyway.
This is one cool device. Those writing negative reviews: get real.
Sure the sound is not studio quality.
However, it greatly surpasses computer built-in speakers and now makes listening to music at my desk enjoyable rather than a chore.
For the price, you can’t really go wrong.

I was terribly disappointed with the lousy sound on my new laptop. so I searched Amazon for speakers. They arrived today (13 days after I ordered them?), but I believe it was worth the wait. Fabulous! I agree with another reviewer that if you’re an audiophile these might not be for you, but I was truly amazed at the difference. Do not hesitate to order if you hate that tinny sound on your laptop.

I saw this at a Sony showroom in Singapore while I was travelling there on my honemoon trip. I loved this product, but it was not for sale there. They did not know where they bought it from, and I kept looking for this at every small/big computer accessories store, but could not find it. One day, my friend Sumit found it for me from Amazon, and I bought it. Thanks Amazon and thanks b-Flex, I love this product. It is so convenient and works great.

I bought these after reading all of the positive reviews and they lived up to the hype. I have a macbook and the b-flex really blows the stock speakers away. Now I can watch movies on my laptop without headphones. This is a really cool product if you want sound on the go and dont want to setup big clunky speakers.

SOLVED MY PROBLEM TO A ‘T’. WOULD HAVE RATED IT 5 STARS IF THEY SUPPLIED A LITTLE LEG TO SNAP ONTO THE BOTTOM OF THE FLEX WIRE TO KEEP IT FROM STRESSING THE USB PORT. WOULD HAVE RATED IT 10 STARS HAD THEY PUT AN ON/OFF VOLUME CONTROL ON IT!

1 Star Not Satisfied and very dissappointed
This product only worked for 3 days then I had to wiggle the cord to get it to work then it stopped working and I had to purchase another one from HP. I will never purchase from this vendor again!
1 Star three weeks until the popping noise started…
Don’t buy this. We’re lucky that we didn’t have a fire. Everything fit and worked as expected for a few weeks, and then we started hearing popping and buzzing noises, and the power supply failed.
A post-mortem showed that the solder had melted on the circuit board near the AC power point. I tried bending the lead to resume contact, and this held for a few days, but it melted the board again. (Note: Don’t open the brick if you don’t know what you’re doing: there is a shock hazard)
The brick does not show a UL listing (no surprise). Although several off-brand products have worked well, this is an area where you should go for a more reputable product.
We purchased this item as a replacement for a HP pavillion dv6000 notebook computer, but this would have happened to any laptop. We left the computer on the desk the whole time, so movement/jostling was not a cause.

5 Stars Exactly what you want
I got this power cord for the AC adapter for my Sony laptop. It is the half square half circle plug. I needed a new one after my dog chewed up my last one. I was going to take it from my PS2, but that is square-square not square-circle.
It works perfectly and is what you are expecting. The only thing this is different is that it is longer than my original Sony, so I was delightfully surprised.

5 Stars GENUINE ARTICLE
I just purchased this second power cord set for my Sony VAIO VGN-SZ480. I like to rig my computer desk so that all the cables are neatly tied underneath the desk (using mug hooks with tabs and plenty of zip ties). The only problem is that you don’t want to undo the cable when you want to use the computer elsewhere or travel with it. This is a genuine SONY article that is identical to the one that came with the computer and is over US$20 cheaper than what SONY wants for it on its own web site.

This docking station is great to disconnect the laptop in a second.
With some release tabs would be a better product.

This wireless adapter is a piece of junk. Hawking Technologies shipped it with the wrong driver, as stated on their website:
“HWP54G OR HWC54G IS NOT WORKING CORRECTLY - WRONG DRIVER”
Who does it affect?
“Customers who have purchased a HWC54G Wireless-G CardBus Card or a HWP54G Wireless-G PCI card from 4/1/2005 to the present.”
And when you go to download an “updated” driver, lo and behold it’s the same driver that they’re claiming doesn’t work.
Purchase this product to your supreme frustration and disappointment.

Generally I don’t write reviews. But this is so bad that I am compelled to write my first review. Just bad product. Just 10 feet away from the wireless router - no obstructions and still has dropped connections every 5 min. Tried everything under the sun. Driving me nuts. Need to buy another card now. Stay away.

Product arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Installed very easily and was recognized immediately by Windows XP. No trouble configuring… all pretty much automatic. I highly recommend this product and seller to anyone looking for a wireless PCI desktop card.

With the default antenna this card sucks but you can pick up one of hawking’s Hi-Grin antennas for cheep and this card is great.
I have it up and running in WinXP SP2 and in Linux. I’m shooting though two houses and the access point is about 80 ft away. I have about a 75% to 95% connection quality with little to no drops.
2 Stars Drops out occassionally & mysteriously starts functioning
For the most part, this works for me. In my current apartment, the antennae has a direct line of sight to the wireless router about 20 feet away and I find that occassionally my wireless connection stops functioning. No amount of rebooting my computer, router or modem worked, so I suspect it’s the card or the driver. I also encountered similar problems as one of the other reviewers, where I tried downloading a supposedly more up-to-date driver from their website and ended up not getting any functionality at all.
